
Theresa Nguyen is an award winning Artist Silversmith based in the heart of the historic Birmingham Jewellery Quarter.
Theresa trained as a silversmith at the Birmingham Jewellery School where she gained a first class degree. In her first year as a student Theresa won the National Young Designer Silversmith Award 2005, which enabled her to design and make her first commission, a cocktail shaker set, in the workshop of the internationally renowned silversmith Grant McDonald. After completing her training at the Bishopsland post graduate workshop in rural Oxfordshire, Theresa went on to establish her business in 2008.
Theresa has developed into an artist who is internationally known for her ability to fashion precious metals into works of exquisite beauty, craftsmanship and design.
Theresa is passionate about working closely with her clients in order to design and hand craft unique commissions of decorative art work, silverware or jewellery that will both delight and enable her clients to mark special moments in their lives, give precious gifts to their loved ones and enrich spaces that they live or work in.
During the course of her career Theresa has been able to create a stunning portfolio of work that has stretched the boundaries of what is possible in working with precious metals attracting a wide circle of discerning collectors, private clients, corporate bodies and prestigious professional institutions, both nationally and internationally.
Theresa was born in Wales to a family of Vietnamese boat people and feels incredibly blessed to have been given the opportunity to explore and develop her creativity and follow her passion to create work that is treasured by her clients.
