These candlesticks were commissioned by the late Robert Copeland as a wedding gift for a friend. Robert was a great encouragement to me and supported my early steps into becoming a silversmith through not only commissioning two pieces but through his passion for silver and his enthusiastic participation in the design process. This has laid a foundation for me in understanding the importance of involving the client in the creative process of a successful commission.
