The Clārus obscūrus piece takes its name from the latin for light and dark and this is the effect that I was aiming for in producing this piece. To see how light would create differing dark and light tones as it moved across the surface of the piece. This piece takes its inspiration from the Jude the Obscure Rose and again highlights the endless inspiration that I find from nature.
