I was given the opportunity to make the cocktail shaker set as a result of winning the Young Designer Silversmith Award 2005 in my first year at university. The award enabled me to have the privilege of making this piece in Grant Macdonald’s workshop as well as being a truly significant step in launching me into a career as a Silversmith.
