Dreamy Spires was commissioned for the dining hall of New College Oxford.
Oxford is famous worldwide for its university and the 'Dreaming Spires', a term coined by the Victorian poet Matthew Arnold to describe the harmonious architecture of Oxford’s university buildings.
It is from these very dreaming spires that I sought to take inspiration in designing and realising this drinking vessel.
I called the drinking vessel “Dreamy Spires” as a playful way of describing the world as it appears for many after a few drops of wine.
