This decorative vessel has been enamelled by Jane Short. With over 35 years of experience, Jane is one of the finest enamellers in Britain.

Alongside using traditional techniques, I love Jane’s creative approach to pushing the boundaries of enamelling keeping her dialogue with the medium both exciting and progressive.

I am fascinated by the possibilities that the technique of enamelling offers in producing subtle harmonies of colour and patterns in my work. I believe that collaborating with Jane has enabled me to bring a new dimension of vibrancy and richness to my observations of nature in my pieces.
