The design ideas for the Parissa piece were initially developed into models made from the leaves of a Camellia Japonica. This silver centrepiece reflects growth and begins with small units resembling leaf forms and then multiples to form a complete whole. This piece celebrates the natural world and marked a major change of design direction for me and was the genesis for many of my future design ideas and pieces.
