This box is part of an eight piece collection made for an exhibition at the Saatchi gallery in 2009.

The inspiration for this piece was to fuse together shapes we see all around us, the square and the circle, into a beautiful object, the aim was to elevate the simple into a dynamic, more exciting form.

The subtly domed base allows a playful movement to the piece, which causes it to come alive as the light dances and reflects from its surface.
