This design for a pair of candleholders also draws inspiration from the sweeping curved forms of Bath Terraces. The shaping of the metal creates a play of transposing surface planes and light reflections.

I was awarded the Gold Award for Silversmithing by the Goldsmiths’ Craftsmanship and Design Council in 2008 for this piece. Today this piece forms part of the Goldsmiths’ Company’s contemporary silver collection
