This Quaich was commissioned to celebrate the birth of baby Isobel.

The design of the Quaich takes inspiration from the Scottish thistle. The cut out wavy shapes represent the woolly body of the thistle. The interior of the piece has a fine textured surface which has been finished with a 22ct gold plate. The exterior has been skilfully engraved by Perry Lewis and masterfully enamelled by Jane Short.
